Numerous people have put their ideas, their creativity and their code into Phex to turn it to the application it is today, but there are still many things which need work, and many areas which can be vastly improved. We believe, that you (whoever you may be) will find many new and exciting improvements, which we didn't yet think of, so we would be very glad to see you joining.

Ways to contribute to Phex
Everybody is able to help and improve Phex. It does not matter if you are a user, Java developer or a web designer. If you like to create some great images, do some hard core coding or write some lines of text. The Phex team is always happy to get help from you and your work will help to keep Phex free.
You can already start to help us by reporting problems and bugs you run across and tell use about new features you'd like to see. This can be easily done through the Phex forum or directly by using our bug and feature tracker at the sourceforge project page.
Additionally we'd gladly welcome people who like to moderate in the Forum and get it steaming.
And one thing, which is missing with most (albeit not all) free software projects: We need people who want to spread Phex.
Contributing to the Wiki documentation
This wiki is intended to provide information for users and developers. An article should not consist of a support request but of the support itself, therefore if you can't contribute you should visit the Phex Forum to get support. If there is already an article but you feel it should be extended feel free to extend it yourself or add a hint on the discussion page that belongs to it.
If you want to play around and test the wiki functions feel free to use the Sandbox.
If you really feel there should be an article on a topic that would be interesting for many users or developers please add a link to it where you think it is appropriate, plase don't create empty articles which are linked from nowhere, because they won't be displayed on the Special:Wantedpages. If you feel an article should be extended/cleaned up add a comment to its discussion page or edit the article by pressing the 'edit' button at the top of the page.

Contributing to Phex development
If you can code Java, we'd be glad to see you involved as Developer.
Also we need
- translators,
- artwork-designers,
- documentation-writers,
- promoters and
- people who want to use Phex to save bandwidth on their pages.
